Amazon Prime Photos

If you’re an Amazon Prime member in the US, you can now add free unlimited photo storage to the list of benefits that the service offers. Announced earlier today, Prime Photos allows you to securely store your existing photo collections and automatically upload new photos to Amazon’s Cloud Drive, at no extra cost.

You can upload photos to the new service from iOS and Android devices, Amazon’s Fire tablets and Fire phone, and Mac and Windows computers. Notably, Amazon says the photos can be uploaded in their full resolution – including RAW files, so you shouldn’t have to worry about losing the original versions.

Once uploaded, photos can be viewed on smartphones, tablets, computers, Amazon’s Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and select LG and Samsung Smart TVs.

Amazon Prime members can start using Prime Photos today, just head over to www.amazon.com/primephotos for more information.
